We went miniature golfing on the 4th of July, and I absolutely loved it! I especially loved the water traps. I went to the zoo with Carter and Julian.  It was pretty empty since it was a cold day- which was just fine with me! We went to see the new red panda, Mei Mei.  However, she was being shy and we only saw her tail.  Still, we had a fantastic time!

Dad went back to California to hang out with Nanny for a bit, so Mom and I were on our own.  I got a spiffy new haircut… And then we went to Bob’s Red Mill for brunch.  YUM! I went for a hike with my best buds, Carter and Julian.  What fun! Mt. Tabor is a pretty awesome place where we can run around and explore nature. We climbed a lot of stairs and even found some treasure! My mom found that getting a picture with all three of us was pretty difficult, but she managed these ones and feels pretty good about it.

We are all feeling pretty sad because Pappi passed away.  We are going to miss him a lot and I’m not sure exactly what it all means, but I do know now he is not in pain or suffering. We went to the LEGO Exhibition for the second year in a row.  I know think that the Oregon Convention Center is simply a LEGO museum!  Dad and I made LEGO vehicles and raced them.  We didn’t win this year, but that’s ok.  It’s all about having fun.

My mom and dad figured out that our zoo membership allows us to visit the Evergreen Air and Space Museum for free one month out of the year.  So, we met up with the Arangos and went again!  It was fun exploring with Persephone. Did you know that I am a really good drummer?  But even good drummers can get better, so my parents signed me up for drum lessons.  My teacher’s name is Timothy.  We use electronic drums, which are really cool because they are not too loud. I look forward to learning more and becoming a really GREAT drummer!
