MEET MARCO

I’m getting really good at stacking my wooden rings! It is one of my favorite toys. I usually like to hold the rings even when I’m not stacking them. I don’t know the “right” order but Mom says that doesn’t matter.

Today we went out to lunch with Annette and Brian. They are my parent’s friends from Califirnia. They have two little boys so they knew all about babies and they really seemed to like me! Mom and Dad were walking me through the park when they decided it was a good time to let me try out the sandbox in the playground. Last week, my parents were cat- sitting for their friends. When I got to tag along, I was smitten by a horse toy their friends had in their house. My school had a crazy hair day. Luckily, I am one of the babies that actually has hair. Mom blew my hair dry and made it stick up. I do think it looked crazy! Here’s a picture of Dad and me right before school: And here I am at school. My teachers thought I looked pretty cool!

Mom keeps her acoustic guitar in my room. She used to play for me all the time when I was younger. Now when she plays, I climb all over her and put my hands on the strings. I want to play guitar! It’s one of my favorite things. I look at it and say, “tah! tah!” Mom wishes she could get through a song without my help…

Mom is off work on Tuesdays and Fridays. She likes to take me to the library because they do a baby song and story time. I really like it! I had a very exciting evening. My parents brought me to my first Timbers game! It was windy and rainy but not too cold. Today was the annual St Patrick’s Day parade and festival at my church. Mom and Dad got me there too late to see the bagpipes and the marching band, but I was just in time to see these goats! I was pretty amazed and a bit apprehensive at first. The goats were very friendly and I think they liked me!

I found a fun new way to get around the house: The laundry tub just happens to double as a walker! I find it helpful in getting over to the cats. It’s also good for being pushed around!
