MEET MARCO

This weekend was the Multnomah County Fair, which is just a few minutes from our house. Dad was stuck at work, so Mom took me over there for a bit. Today I got to go to IKEA for the very first time. It was just as magical as I had imagined! There were lots of cool toys, including a soccer ball which I grabbed right away. Even the non-toy sections were pretty neat. I can see why my parents like this place.

After months of practicing, I can finally walk I my own!! I’m still a bit wobbly but I can walk from one room to the other and I can stand up without holding on to anything! This makes chasing the cats so much easier. Mom and Dad are so proud of me! IMG_7423

Today I had spaghetti for dinner. I really liked it! My parents didn’t think I would actually eat it but I surprised them. I must be Italian after all.

My parents finally installed the swing Aunt Gloria and Uncle Greg got me for Christmas. I guess they waited until I was big enough to use it. It is on our porch so I can look out on our neighborhood as I swing. I really like it!

My mom is so worried about me because I don’t like to eat table food. Mostly, I eat purées and avoid finger foods. My mom tries to introduce new textures, but I usually refuse to eat them. What a great day! I got abou in the mail from Grandma and Grandpa Toulouse! It’s by one of my favorite authors, Sandra Boynton. I was so excited when I opened the package! Then I crawled around with the book and the envelope: Then I played with the envelope. I’m such a silly boy!

Mom and Dad talk about Los Gorditos Mexican restaurant like it’s the most delicious food in the whole world!
