Lately I’ve been really interested in my cat brothers, Xabi and Shay. Xabi is cool and I like him, but he walks away when my parents bring me near him. Shay is a bit more tolerant and will even let me touch him! Plus he is black and white, which I seem to respond to. I’m lucky to have such neat-o cat brothers!

I’m a few days late in posting this, but it took me a bit to recover from all the excitement… I had so much fun when Uncle Matthew, Aunt Kelli, and their 15 month old son Bixby came to visit! By Laura… Last night was Marco’s best sleep night ever! Matthew, Kelli, and their one year old son Bixby are staying with us, and I think Marco was really tuckered from the day and watching Bixby play. He fell asleep at 6:30 pm and, aside from waking briefly to eat twice, slept until 6:30 am! I am sure this won’t become a pattern yet, but we sure hope it does!.. Read More

Today I finally got to meet Aunt Janice’s parents, Yuko and Rick! They were visiting all the way from Texas. Yuko loved holding me and even taught me “peek-a-boo” in Japanese! She also sang me a lovely song, which kept me calm and happy all through dinnertime. It was wonderful to meet them!

Ok so apparently every baby loves this giraffe called Sophie, so my parents bought it for me. They have showed it to me several times now that I’m good at grabbing things. Over the past weeks I’ve really begun to realize that I have hands. They are useful for grabbing things, for sucking on, and for grabbing things to suck on! I also love to grab mom’s hair and not let go. She just loves that!

I have been enjoying books lately. My favorite is Kitten Tails. The Hoffmans gave it to me. I read it every day with my parents. I like to grab at the tails and turn the pages from right to left. My parents are proud of their little reader!

It’s actually my daddy, but he looks like me.
