Because of all the snow and ice, my school was closed today. So was Mom’s work, so we had mama-baby day! We didn’t get to go anywhere, so we spent the entire day inside. Wow! When I woke up this morning- surprise!- it was snowing! I’ve learned about snow but I’ve never actually experienced it. I liked it but it is very cold! Mom and Dad got me a little yellow chair. I like to sit in it and do lots of things like eating, reading, writing, and playing! It’s just the right size for a kid like me!

My school is closed this week for winter break, so Dad took the week off too! We have been doing all kinds of fun things. Today he took me to the Children’s Museum. Atlas is our next door neighbor’s cat. He goes outside, unlike our cats. The nice thing about Atlas is that he doesn’t run when I want to see him! Today I showed him my kitty stuffed animal. I think he liked it!

I love to wear my mom and dad’s shoes! I put them on and walk around. One day, my feet will be this big!

I had a project at school! I had to make a poster that showed “all about me” to display in my classroom. I have to admit, I got some help from Mom on this one, but I really love my poster!

It was time again for my yearly picture with Santa. Last year I was so young that I was tricked into not realizing that Santa was holding me. Well that wasn’t going to happen this year! Fish are one of my favorite animals! I love to say “fish” and sign “fish” and watch fish swim around in their tanks! I saw fish at OMSI last week. Aren’t they cool? I also saw lots of fish at the aquarium. I had so much fun watching them with Abuelo! Fish are just too cool!
