I had a very exciting evening. My parents brought me to my first Timbers game! It was windy and rainy but not too cold. Dad wore me in the carrier for the first 20 minutes but then I got sick of that and Mom wore me. I wasn’t crazy about being worn by either of them, truth be told. I had to wear these silly headphones. I did not like.. Read More
St Patrick’s Day Goats
Today was the annual St Patrick’s Day parade and festival at my church. Mom and Dad got me there too late to see the bagpipes and the marching band, but I was just in time to see these goats! I was pretty amazed and a bit apprehensive at first. The goats were very friendly and I think they liked me!
Fun with Laundry
I found a fun new way to get around the house: The laundry tub just happens to double as a walker! I find it helpful in getting over to the cats. It’s also good for being pushed around!
The Importance of Hygiene
Ever since I started school, I’ve had one cold after another. I’ve felt generally miserable most of the time. This current cold is just awful- my cough is really bad and my nose is like a faucet. I even have goopy eyes! My parents are trying to teach me good hygiene. They say it can help keep me healthy. Every night, I take a bath. My hair gets washed every.. Read More
New Shoes
When I was younger, I never had to wear shoes. I used to go around barefoot or in socks even when my parents took me somewhere. Now, they put shoes on me whenever I leave the house. I don’t know how I feel about this yet. I guess I’m getting to be a big boy!
I Like School
I think I finally am beginning to relax and enjoy my time at school. I didn’t even cry today when Mom left! When I got to school, I immediately saw a familiar toy…and I had to go to it right away! I sure do love to practice my walking! By the way, today was pajama day- that is why I’m wearing my pj’s in this picture!
A Walk by the Waterfront
This is my first winter so I don’t know any different. Apparently this is one of the warmest, driest winters my parents have ever experienced in Oregon. Today, we went for a walk next to the big Willamette river. I enjoyed seeing all the dogs and weird people. Mom says we will go back there next weekend since the cherry blossom trees are just about ready to bloom!
Going Shopping!
We go to Trader Joe’s every weekend. Most of the time Dad wears me in the carrier. Sometimes Mom or Dad will just hold me in their arms. Today, Dad had the idea that I’m big enough to ride in the cart! Mom thought I am too small, but let Dad try it anyway (after wiping the cart with disinfecting wipes). Turns out I AM big enough, and I kind.. Read More
Trying to Walk
Grandma and Grandpa got me this really cool walker for Christmas but until now, my mom and dad only let me play with the front part and didn’t assemble the walker part. But today they decided I’m ready for the walker! It’s so neat to have another toy I can climb up on! Unfortunately, I still need a lot of help with the walking part, especially since I keep letting.. My New Table
Things are back to normal around here. Dad is home and I’m feeling so much better. I’m pretty happy most of the time, which makes my parents happy too! They want to encourage me to practice my standing, so today they surprised me with a new activity table! It’s just the right height for me to easily pull myself up to a standing position, and there are lots of fun.. Read More
