I’m a few days late in posting this, but it took me a bit to recover from all the excitement… I had so much fun when Uncle Matthew, Aunt Kelli, and their 15 month old son Bixby came to visit! I was fascinated by Bixby and his boundless energy.
We did all kinds if activities. One day we went to the aquarium. I didn’t love it, but did really enjoy a couple of the tanks, one in particular that had all kinds of colorful fish.
Bixby and I took a picture in the photo booth, which was pretty fun.
The next day we walked to the park.
There had been a new playground under construction, and what a surprise it was to find out that we arrived just as the completed playground was being opened for the first time! There were lots of trees, which I liked a lot.
I also got to step in the grass. It was interesting. I liked to grab and pull it out, just like I do with mom’s hair.
We went out for beers at Cascade Barrel House. I had an ok time, despite my gesture to the camera.
Bixby got to eat his dinner there. He enjoyed that!
On their last day in town, We went to the Portland Children’s Museum. That place has so many fun things for kids to do! I just watched, and it was a bit overwhelming for me, but I really liked this light-up wall. I think I will really love it here when I’m a bit older.
I had such a fun time with Uncle Matthew, Aunt Kelli, and Cousin Bixby! I can’t wait to be a big boy like Bixby- he always looks like he is having so much fun! Next time I see them, I probably will be pretty big!
