Mom and Dad took me on my first road trip to Seattle to see Aunt Janice! We started by eating lunch at Del Taco in Vancouver, where I enjoyed some bean burrito.
It was a long time in the car but I was a pretty good sport.
Once in Seattle, we did lots of fun things with Aunt Janice! We went to a cool Lego play cafe and I enjoyed playing with all the Duplos.
We went out to eat a few times. I wasn’t so into the restaurants, but I liked climbing up and down the stairs and playing with the bar stools.
We went to a cool glasses shop where Dad and Aunt Janice tried on glasses and I typed on a typewriter.
We went shopping at an antique mall. I found a fascinating gargoyle…
There was a section of the antique mall with records. I did some shopping and found a record I loved. I wouldn’t let go of it!
Later, we went to the Seattle Aquarium. I really loved that! I saw seals, puffins, an octopus, and of course, fish!
The next day, we visited KEXP radio station, where Aunt Janice works. I thought it was interesting. Here we are in the engineer booth:
Before hitting the road, we went to the Seattle Children’s Museum. Even though I was starting to feel a little crummy, I had lots of fun. I got to be the captain of a ship, and I really loved drumming on the conga drums!! I could have done THAT all day!!
Then it was a long car ride back home. It was super seeing Aunt Janice and I had lots of fun, but it is good to be home!
