I got to go to the pumpkin patch with my two best buddies, Harry and Isaac! It was a cool day but at least it wasn’t raining. First, we enjoyed seeing all the animals. There were goats, kittens, and pigs!

Next, we took a train ride out to where the pumpkins were.  It was a lot of fun, but I thought it was going to be loud so I covered my ears.  It really wasn’t loud!

The train brought us to the pumpkins, but first we went to check out the ponies! I liked to see them, but did not want to go on a pony ride.  This was ok with Mom and Dad, since it cost $6!

Next we went to look at pumpkins.  While it was a pretty day, it was SO MUDDY at this pumpkin patch! I mean, mud was everywhere, and the ground was slippery.  I didn’t want to walk that much, so Mom and Dad had to carry me a lot.  They didn’t blame me one bit.  We all got completely filthy.  Even the pumpkins were dirty.  Mom was especially unhappy about all of this.  Still, I managed to have some fun looking at the pumpkins.

Harry, Isaac, and I also had a good time looking at pumpkins together.

That last picture shows just how much mud we were dealing with, by the way.

All of our moms and dads were having a very hard time getting a picture of the three of us together.  We didn’t want to pose for a picture, and none of stayed still long enough to get a good group shot.  However, an older boy started kicking a rotten pumpkin, which caught all of our interest.  Our moms and dad seized the opportunity and got a picture of us standing together.  We look a bit confused because we weren’t sure why that boy was kicking a pumpkin.

Finally, we took a boat ride.  Mom and Dad didn’t get any pictures of that because they were fed up with the mud and ready to be done, but it was really fun!

I love the pumpkin patch.  Next year, we will make sure we don’t go after a rainy week!
