My school took a field trip to the zoo! Mom and Dad both took the day off to come along. Dad drove the car while Mom took the bus with me!
When we got to the zoo, we had to wait for a long time before we got to go in. I wasn’t crazy about that, but I did ok.
Once we got in, we got to see a lot of animals, but we also had to do a lot of head counts. Here are some pictures of me with my class!
I had a fun time looking at a monkey who came right up to look at me too!
Teacher Filisha and I spent some time looking at an alligator. It was very big!
My friends and I checked out a hippo swimming around in the water!
It was very hot at the zoo. My classmates cooled off in the misters, but I just wanted to hold my mom’s hand and watch.
I got tired near the end of the trip and decided to go with Mom and Dad in the car home. What a fun time, but then when I got home, I got a headache and then I threw up! Not a great end to the day, but I chilled with Dad on the sofa after and felt a little better.
I’ll stay home from school tomorrow to recover from the very busy, hot day at the zoo.
