Mom, Dad, and I went to Salem for the Oregon State Fair! Last year, I was very unhappy about the fair and scared of just about everything. However, this year, I was much more comfortable and really loved seeing and petting all of the animals. I did wear my headphones the whole time, but it helped me relax.
I got to climb on a bunch of tractors and construction equipment, which I absolutely loved!
We went in a butterfly tent, where there were lots of painted lady butterflies. We held little pretend flowers with sugar water on them. The butterflies drank the sugar water from the flowers. It was so cool!
I even got to try my first milkshake! It was vegan, of course. And chocolate! Needless to say, I loved it!
The fair was a blast! I’m so happy we went!
