I took my biggest trip of my life- all the way to Michigan to visit Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Jenna, and Uncle Zak! I was very excited the morning we left Oregon, and happy to go on a plane!
We had a layover in Minneapolis, and our flight was delayed. I was a good boy and enjoyed exploring the airport. Mom and Dad let me play with some ice. I think they were running out of ideas.
I was so happy to see Grandma and Grandpa! They got me a cute cat stuffed animal, and had a lot of toys at their house just for me. I had so much fun playing with them!
Grandma and Grandpa’s deck and backyard was really awesome! I really enjoyed hanging out back there. Aunt Jenna and Uncle Zak came over one day and we all enjoyed the lovely day outside.
There were lots of birds there- I mean LOTS! I loved watching them and thought that I could feed them peanuts like at Nanny and Pappi’s house. Sadly, no birds would eat out of my hand!
There was a… thing that rang like a bell when I shook it. I shook it a lot.
One day, we drove out to Aunt Jenna and Uncle Zak’s house. They have some lovely cats who came up to me at first. Then they figured out how crazy I can be!
We went out to eat at Hopcat. I really loved all the fried food- even the fried onions!
It was so nice to see Aunt Jenna and Uncle Zak again. Mom says we will see them again next year when we go to the beach!
Back at Grandma and Grandpa’s house, I had some more fun times. My parents had to improvise when I refused to take a bath in their bathtub…
I also studied up on the birds of Michigan.
The day before we had to leave, we went to a mall with an amazing playground. I had the time of my life running around and squealing!
There was also a train that went around the mall! I was a little unsure at first, but once the ride was done, I was SO sad that it was over! I just love trains!
I loved spending time with Grandma and Grandpa! I can’t wait to go back to see them again soon!
Mom and Dad want to go back to visit too, especially since I am such a good traveler!
